- Launching next month, the Graded subsidiary will release music by up-and-coming artists.
Midland is starting a new label for emerging artists called Intergraded.
The label, which launches next month, will be the second sub-label of Graded, the outlet Harry Agius originally started in 2013. (The other is ReGraded.) The first release on Intergraded is a four-track various artists EP featuring newcomers Peach, Jay, Webstarr and Body In The Thames. It's out on February 23rd.
"The idea for the label came about after being sent unreleased music and ideas by a number of artists over the last year," said Agius. "As I plan to focus Graded on my own Midland solo work for the foreseeable future, and with ReGraded occupying a different aesthetic plane altogether, the logical step was to start a new label that could help introduce this music to a wider audience."
Tracklist
01. Body In The Thames - Silver Threaded Crystal Beads
02. Peach - Silky
03. Jay - Balsam Drum
04. Webstarr - The Muse
Intergraded will release INTGRD001 on February 23rd, 2018.
