  • Bass Clef has started a new record label called Open Hand Real Flames. The label, which has grown from the UK artist's NTS Radio show, will focus on digital and limited edition CD-Rs, aiming to "release music that is multi-BPM, anti-genre and full of heart." The first two releases are out now. One, titled (minimum wage) (zero hours) (infinite forest) contains three longform pieces from Bass Clef. The second, by Dirk De Akkers and Erik Slinge, is titled Nieuw Qniversum and is described by the label as "the first release of a new genre that they call Q, from the docklands and waterways of south Rotterdam."
