  • F ingers are releasing another LP on Blackest Ever Black. Awkwardly Blissing Out is a six-track release that's due out September 8th on vinyl and digital formats. It's the fourth album from the Australian trio of Carla Dal Forno, Tarquin Manek and Samuel Karmel, and their second on Blackest Ever Black after 2015's Hide Before Dinner. The new album was recorded in Melbourne and Berlin between 2015 and 2017, and extends the group's improvised electronic psych freakouts into dubbed-out, murky territories. The group's members have been busy with other projects in recent months. Dal Forno released her debut solo LP last year, while Manek's latest album, a collaboration with a fictional vocalist, is out next month. Karmel, meanwhile, collaborated with Conrad Standish on a side of a Wichelroede mixtape under the moniker CS + Kreme. Listen to "All Rolled Up" from Awkwardly Blissing Out.
