Kraftwerk have announced a new collection of live recordings called 3-D The Catalogue.
The new release features live material recorded from 2012 through 2016, when the duo performed many of their classic albums in full. It'll come in a variety of formats, most notably a four-disc video boxset that features all eight of the duo's classic albums performed live, presented in 5.1, stereo and "headphone surround 3D" mixes. All video is in 3D, but is also 2D compatible. There will also be a shorter two-disc video set with highlights from the tour, along with two vinyl releases—one eight-disc box with all eight albums, and a four-disc box with highlights—plus an eight-CD set containing all the live recordings.
All versions are due out through Parlophone on May 26th.
