Astral Plane Recordings is releasing a new Chants EP.
The Madison, Wisconsin producer made his debut on the LA imprint—which nabbed the #20 spot in our top labels of 2016 poll—with The Zookeeper EP last year, following it up with a remix record earlier this year. Now, after "nine months of hard spent studio time and a series of self-imposed limitations," Chants is back with the Amethyst Dust EP.
The label says the record is "built for club play, but its creator has come to the material from a distinctly outsider perspective," emphasizing the aggressive qualities common to many Astral Plane artists.
