Flørist will release a five-track EP, Windows On The World, via World Building next month.
Vancouver producer Logan Sturrock figured heavily into RA's recent feature about the city's distinctive dance music underground. His track "Marine Drive" was one of the scene's most recognizable tunes last year. Sturrock's next release will come out in early January via World Building, the label run by Ari Goldman, one-half of the DJ duo Beautiful Swimmers.
Goldman launched the label in August with a five-track EP from Stockholm-based record collector Mark Seven called The Fatal Flaw In Disco. Flørist's forthcoming Windows On The Word EP is produced under an alter ego, V. Rosso, and draws influence from "Italo house elements, sexy UK garage vibes and dubby techno visions," the label says.
