  • fabric has revealed a change in programming for its Friday nights in 2017. The much-loved London club is set to reopen on Friday, January 6th after a four-month closure, thanks to an agreement struck in late November with local authorities. Now fabric has offered some more details about plans for the new year. In a blog post today, the venue says that Saturday nights, which host a range of mostly house and techno acts, "will stay just as they were." But now only the final Friday of each month will be reserved for Fabriclive, which previously presented drum & bass, dubstep and grime as well as house and techno on a weekly basis. While Fabriclive will also have its own bank holiday parties and other one-off takeovers, the rest of the Fridays on the calendar will feature "a new series of one-off standout shows and curated events." No further bookings have been announced, but so far, fabric's event listings for January 13th and 20th each promise "a house and techno night." Tickets to fabric are available here on RA.
