Aphex Twin to play first US show in eight years in Houston

- Aphex Twin has confirmed his first American gig since 2008, going down at the Day For Night festival on December 17th and 18th. The last time Richard D James played the US, it was at Coachella in 2008. Since then, he's rebooted his production career, starting with his Syro album in 2014 and continuing on with a string of records, most recently Cheetah. As Pitchfork reports, James is one of the headliners for the Texas festival, and has no other US appearances planned. Day For Night is also Aphex Twin's first major live performance anywhere since 2012.
