- The German star is back with a four-track EP for Oliver Hafenbauer's label next month.
Roman Flügel's next EP, Verschiebung, will land on Die Orakel in August.
The 12-inch is Flügel's first for Die Orakel, the label run by Oliver Hafenbauer, music director at the Frankfurt club Robert Johnson (where RA held its In Residence event series in May). It's his first solo release of the year, following last year's EPs for Dial, Hivern Discs and Hypercolour. Die Orakel describes the new record as "four 16-step sequencer excursions," and indeed the tracks are mostly built from stripped-back synthesizer loops. Flügel also has a remix on the way for the 30th-anniversary re-release of "Electric Salsa" by Sven Väth's OFF project. That one includes versions from Henrik Schwarz as well.
