- The London club night and label has released a new compilation.
Bala Club's has put out its first compilation.
The label grew out of a London club night dedicated to the experimental edge of club music. It was founded by was founded by brothers Kamixlo and Uli K (the latter's breakout Demonico EP landed last year on PAN subsidiary Code). Their first compilation touches on "reggaeton, grime, trap and every conceivable offshoot sound in-between," Bala Club says. It's a mix of vocal and instrumental tracks with contributions from founders as well as Mixpak singer and producer Palmistry, and Swedish rapper Yung Lean.
"The whole compilation has a balance of beautiful and ugly," the label explains. "Everyone's just showing their true emotions. It's not just like any compilation, it's not a random compiling of bangers. This is personal for everyone on it."
