- The UK producer will put out his first 10-inch of 2016 in May.
DVA has announced his latest record, Take It All, due out on May 13th.
Leon Smart, also known as Scratcha DVA, has been an important part of the Hyperdub roster for years now, releasing the bulk of his music via the UK outfit, including last year's Allyallrecords. Take It All is the follow-up to that one, and the label says it continues in that vein, working with "adventurous dance floor dynamics, stop-start twitchy rhythms and trap doors, where everything falls away leaving gaping black holes of sub bass."
The vinyl version comprises four tracks, including a collaboration with fellow British producer Simbad. Sinjin Hawke contributes a remix. A digital version will follow on June 3rd, and that one includes three extra tracks—remixes from TSVI, Lokane and Simbad. Have a listen to the title track below.
