Beau Wanzer, the hardware head cum scientist out of Chicago, has been increasingly visible in recent years, thanks to well-received records on L.I.E.S. and various collaborative projects such as Streetwalker and Juzer.
The new album showcases his work with Corporate Park, the duo of Shane English and Jonah Lange, and was built out of sessions in Denton, Texas over the past few years. Lange works with LZX Industries, a video synthesizer company, while English recently dropped a tape on the Berlin-based Unknown Precept label. Rush Hour refers to as "a slimy hodgepodge of varied influences processed by warped minds and melting hardware, displaying Wanzer and Co.'s unique brand of American electronic madness."
