- The UK label will repress The Age Of Candy Candy, originally produced under the Smackos alias in 2004.
Legowelt's 2004 album The Age Of Candy Candy will get its first vinyl release through Berceuse Heroique.
The Age Of Candy Candy dates back to 2004, when Dutchman Danny Wolfers dropped it as the first full-length from his Smackos project through his own CD-R label Strange Life Records. Loosely based on a Japanese historical drama, Candy Candy lands on the ambient end of the Legowelt spectrum, produced with a raft of hardware without any drums.
Berceuse Heroique will press it onto "double 180g vinyl, gatefold with some killer artwork," remastered by Dubplates & Mastering and out "sooner than you think" in a run of 300 copies, according to a Facebook post by the label boss.
In terms of more recent Legowelt material, Wolfers dropped a surprise ambient album late last year.
