- The Berlin producer's own Office Recordings will release his debut album in November.
The debut album from Baaz, Red Souvenirs, is set for release in November.
The Berlin-based house producer has released for a number of labels, including Sthlmaudio, Quintessentials and Slices Of Life. In 2012, he launched Office Recordings, which has been home to his What About Talk About EP series and a record from fellow traveler Christopher Rau. That label will handle the release of Red Souvenirs, which pulls together tracks recorded between 2010 and 2014. The press release promises "no overarching concept behind the album, nor any grandiose statements or artistic messages." It's instead a compendium of the styles he likes, "from snappy house beats to narcotic dub techno and psychedelic hip-hop."
