  • Denver's NORAD Dance Bar will close down on May 25th. The nightclub was started back in 2012 with the mission to provide an "underground vibe, amazing sound system and cutting edge artists," and since then they've held over 200 events at their space on 22nd Street. The future of the venue was always a bit uncertain—when the NORAD crew took over the building was already up for sale. After failing to raise enough funds to buy the building themselves, NORAD are now under the control of the new owners, who have decided to give them the boot. According to a statement released by the club, all scheduled events will go ahead as planned. The club will right through till the weekend of May 25th, when they promise a massive several-day closing bash. Once NORAD is gone, the crew will take their sound system and lighting rig to other venues for one-off shows under the NORAD Presents banner, all while looking for a new space.
