DRESSING FOR PLEASURE is the record label and A&R debut of German American Dominatrix, Mistress Bella Lugosi. An imprint for electronic music and other creative projects that endeavors to explore the intersection of music, fetish culture and visual art.
After studying music production in college, Lugosi enjoyed a rewarding career in event coordination, label/artist/tour management, creative direction and publicity. She worked with many esteemed artists from the electronic music world before semi-retiring. Following a new calling in 2017, Lugosi was initiated into one of the most famous dungeons in the world as a Mistress. Since then she’s earned a respected name in the international fetish scene, touring and filming across Europe, England and the USA.
Now returning to her roots in music, Lugosi applies her affinity for electro, techno, post-punk, EBM, shoegaze, synth-, dark- and coldwave, presenting her own interpretation of “fetish music". Like a great DJ mix, a key component of a great SM Session is the storyline. A dynamic journey punctuated by alternating moments of tension and release. Interested in exploring the parallels between musical and physical bliss, Lugosi combines her past in music and creative direction with her new mastery of bodywork, psychology and bizarre fetish practices - resulting in a very personal creative vision.
