More than 10 years after his first release on Canadian label Mutek Records, Ernesto Ferreyra launches Loosen Up, taking his summer Club der Visionare's residency to a new dimension. Inviting friends such as Vincent Lemieux, Bill Patrick, Voigtmann, Franco Cinelli, Federico Molinari, Mirko Loko, The Mole among others, to play since 2013 under the club’s graceful weeping willow which has inspired the label’s aesthetics, the party slowly grew into a friendly community's impromptu loosing it up along the infamous Landwehr’s canal. Few years later, the label felt like the natural next step for Ernesto’s musical journey.
Fresno, his fresh & new straight to the floor alter ego under which he will release Loosen Up 001, set the imprint's sound direction uniting the label boss' dual love of refined house grooves and modular synths on this inaugural four track EP "Tree Man".
The label aims to explore sound design and dance cuts from past and future guests delivering dancefloor-ready gems and brand new parties at Club der Visionare and around the globe. Ernesto will keep his summer busy with his own events series in the Berlin’s venue co-hosting Loosen Up with Uruguayan upcoming talent & friend Ema Remedi, who will deliver the label’s second release during this year.
Loosen Up’s residency will start on April 20th and will see names like Mike Shannon, Marc Schneider, Pedro D’Alessandro, Ohm Hourani, Funk E, Ben Vedren, Maayan Nidam behind the decks along the summer.
