- On this month's show we hear stories of nightmare DJ sets, and Steffi breaks down her creative process.
- The summer is over, at least if you live in the Northern Hemisphere. So to open this month's show we asked some of the RA staff to look back over summer 2017 and tell us quickly about their favourite festival experience [01:30].
Our next feature on the show was inspired by a recent post by Tiga in which he asked the question, "How about when you don't kill it?" He went on to talk openly about a set he'd played in Rome that simply didn't go well. Matt McDermott reached out to Tiga and DJs like Lena Willikens, Jamie 3:26, Kim Ann Foxman, Daniel Wang and Chris Cruse and asked them to relive some of their nightmare experiences behind the decks [07:00].
And to finish, Steffi just released an album called World Of The Waking State, an inspired blend of electro and IDM. It marked a creative transition for the Dutch artist, who's been known for her melody-rich, vocal-driven house tracks. Matt Unicomb invited her over to our Berlin office to talk about the record and her creative process in general [36:20].
