Auji Industries - Love You More EP

  • After two EPs (the first being 00) of label boss Ryo Murakami's own material—with remix action by Lerosa and Stereociti—newcomer Auji Industries steps up for Pan's latest offering. Similar to the imprints that the aforementioned artists have released on (Quintessentials, Mojuba, Millions of Moments, etc.) the name of the game here is dubbed out house. The four numerically named tracks all adhere to a similar sonic palette, but each show a slightly different side to the producer. The A-side is a depiction of a hazy journey; "1" has rhythmic interlinking bass and tom work, while subtle pads create atmosphere. They appear in full bloom on "2," with Auji's brush creating beautiful, doleful hues. Spilling onto the B-side, these washes engulf the beats on "3," almost as if they could have been done away with entirely. Love You More is an impressive debut; Auji's emotions are portrayed well through the music, putting the Japan-based artist on par with experienced producers and setting him apart from cookie-cutter deep house.
