Feel The Love - Rui Da Silva feat. Victoria Horn

  • Many have very high expectations for this, Rui Da Silva’s latest production, after his impressive ‘Touch Me’ release in 2001. There has been much hype surrounding 'Feel The Love' as it has already been played by some of the worlds finest. Rui Da Silva has compiled two new mixes of the origional, which was put out in September of 2002, and both are more refined and upbeat. And upon hearing these remixes, you will be far from disappointed. A – Feel The Love (Saffron Mix 1) The tribal sounding introductory beats are glued together incredibly well before the melody and vocal drop in. From the first major drum beat ‘Feel The Love’ hits you with a warm spiritually uplifting vibe. Then the solid bass-line takes you away and... wow! Victoria Horn's beautiful and strong vocals give this release an amazing touch of class and sets it well above most other vocal house numbers. It’s surprising how much difference the addition of decent vocals make to the overall standard of a track. The mix then winds out with a nice sound and simple bassline. Simply flawless. B – Feel The Love (Saffron Mix 2) This second Saffron Mix starts with a much longer and progressive style build-up. It grows in stages over a few minutes before, in a much more subtle manner, the vocal that makes this track so recognisable is introduced. Although it isn’t as in your face as the previous mix the vocal still has a huge impact. This mix is definitely designed as more of a club winner, for those who take a less cheesy stance with their upbeat house tunes. Overall, this release is nothing but class! It will work in various situations and I predict it will even break the commercial charts.
