- Dance floor weapons ahoy! From Madrid based artist and CMYK label manager Alex Under comes this second killer EP in as many weeks of vintage Trapez minimalism.
The A-side 'El Diluvio Azul' is a loopy, jackin’ groover with an insane warbly bassline which, once unleashed on to any packed dance floor, should shudder the life right out of it. With Under often being described as Spain’s answer to Plastikman, this is a tune you can easily imagine being at the front of Richie Hawtin’s record box.
On the flip 'El Danubio Universal' starts as a shuffling, gorgeously warm melodic techno gem, but when a slightly haywire bassline emerges mid-way through, it's a track that ends up just as bouncy as its predecessor.
Yet another titan-like release of hypnotic rhythms from Trapez that should not disappoint fans of the minimalist techno genre.
