Rooster & Peralta - Move Your Body (Remixes)

  • Throughout the last year Tweek'd records has consistently raised the their game with a bunch of tribal tinged house music. Following on from their last release, the monstrous "My drug" from Martin Accorsi under his Seductive beats guise, comes an all new remix package of "Move Your Body", a track originally released in '04 from Rooster and Peralta. First up is the Armand Pena remix, bringing together an angry dose of gritty percussive patterns along with spatial effects bouncing about. Added to the mix is a mix of dirty basslines and vocal cuts of the original to spice things up. The Austin Leeds remix is a tighter mix of toughened, energetic drums with use of airy fx and repetitive vocal which beckons us to have more. Synth stabs take over the control while tribal elements enforce the pace, stripping back for the break before cranking up again. Next up is the Eric Entrena Toro remix, creating a series of peaks and troughs as a sterodic pace is set with tweaked parts of the original along with drop outs, builds and dirty nature. DJ Gio turns out a low slung re-rub focusing on a tribal progression with a taste of the vocal lurking about as beats drop out, parts filter and wind back up for the reward. The Tarot remix sets a deeper mood with a dark pensive stabbing synth setting the pace as a subtle build of airy fx, vocal and that tribal flavour gather a relaxed but tentative groove. Last up is Danny Woo's Electrocution remix, grinding out a pounding beat with forceful synth line, claps and cut up vocal. It creates a foot stomping groove before parts dissipate at the break, working in an elevating synth sound to work it back up. Six varied takes on the one theme, rich in tribal essence.
