- Fresh off the blocks from this fairly new digital label comes a two tracker from Snake Sedrick.Zoltan Hedrick has been gaining respect recently with some neat prog flavoured productions and this offering is no different.
Balanced kicks off from the beginning with a tight mix of distorty rhythms keeping a forceful flow as moody,atmospheric pads swell up,dropping out the beat before launching again with a whole range of warm,organic melodies working about each other and in the process creating a mystical,dreamy edge.For the break a the emotion intensifies and broken rhythms slowly shift each phrase forward with ease before dissipating once more till the end.
Effulgence is in a similar mould with subtle tribalish percussion keeping a groove as emotive strings produce something of epic proportions,swaying from start to finish with pensive melodies constantly re-shaping the mood.Scattered throughout are twinkling sounds and airy delayed hits that only add to the powerful message.
Finishing things off is the Efflugence intro mix to keep us even more amused.
This is some of Snake Sedrick's best work to date , a must have for any prog lover.
