  • Joy Orbison has been gliding through all sorts of club styles since the release of his genre-hopping debut album last year, from deep house to 2-step to trap. His latest single, "2M3 2U," starts off as a warbly, bass-led knocker before warping into something resembling hyperpop at the halfway point. Rising chords accompany twinkling synths, before the main riff brings back the grit and grime. There's a wobbliness to the topline that commands bodily movement—think DJ Narrows' "Saved Soul," but more vibrant. A robotic yet sensual vocal chop simply says "you," reminding us that this transmission is another infectiously danceable gift from him to us. We say keep them coming.
