- A solid yet predictable festival anthem from Jamie xx.
- After two years of silence, Jamie xx returns "Let's Do It Again," a banner festival track that covers all of the signature Jamie-isms. A yelping Bobby Barnes sample takes the wheel, with a euphoric tension and release that recalls the highest highs of In Colour. On a technical level, though, it feels tepid in the shadow of its predecessor, 2020's "Idontknow." The drum pattern feels unimaginative and talk of taking the listener "higher" is a little worn out at this point. Even still, I could see myself forgetting these critiques in some sweaty festival crowd this summer.
