Miss Kittin & The Hacker - Ostbahnhof

  • Two decades later, the French duo still sound impeccably cool.

  • It's been more than a decade since Miss Kittin and the Hacker released new material. Over a creeping acid line in the vein of Paranoid London, Caroline Hervé returns with a typically unhurried (and literal) vocal performance, describing an afternoon clubbing in Berlin. And while the song may seem to pick up exactly where they left off, Hervé still gives us a few knowing winks, "So I put on my famous smile / 'Are you playing today?' they say / It's been a while, I don't know why." With all of the genre revivalism, I'm willing to put my cards on the table and say I'm here for another electroclash phase, hopefully with Miss Kittin and The Hacker at the forefront.
