- Dina Summer is a new project from husband-and-wife DJ duo Local Suicide and producer Kalipo that looks to the colder, wavier ends of the '80s. On "Who Am I" from their debut EP, it's hard to tell which is iciest: the metal kicks, the steely arpeggio or the deadpan vocal that alternates between Greek and English. The track sounds like it was made for a Dark Entries reissue, but with a sleek, venomous touch that holds its own with modern EBM techno. It's a strong throwback to the darker side of disco with some impressive electro drums that keep it from veering into kitsch.
