  • Night Journeys, a series of paintings composed of swirling patterns by Lee Krasner (Jackson Pollock's wife), was created during an insomnia phase. Courtesy's first-ever release, made during her own sleepless nights, echoes Krasner's intense imagery through synth-heavy melodies that she describes as "ambient trance." Noticeably absent of percussion, the EP's second track sees cascading bleeps, drone-like textures and haunting vocals gently coalesce, just like Krasner's interlocking shapes. Shimmering and visceral despite its floaty nature, it makes for a moving journey.
