- For half a decade, Parang Recordings has had its finger on the pulse. Every record to date on the Brooklyn label has been essential, from its initial releases focused on low-slung minimal to more recent outings touching on progressive house. The latest release is from the impossible-to-Google DJ Nina. The whole EP is a tour de force in dance music as bittersweet as baking chocolate, but "Pop Xan" is in a league of its own.
