Erika de Casier's second album, Sensational, was one of the year's best electronic music-R&B crossover albums. And "Polite" was one of the standouts, demanding repeats because of its irresistible chorus and Sade-inspired production. On the new remix record, British artist Mura Masa takes on the challenge of adding an extra oomph to a pretty relaxed cut. Packed with funky guitar riffs and syncopated hi-hats grounded by a hearty house kick, the track recalls the best of Kaytranada in its attempts to infuse minimalist elements with a boundless sense of groove.
