- The name Kamyar Keramati may be a new one for most, but the Iranian-born, Berlin-based producer has been dissolving dance floors with the acid rain he releases as one half of the duo Tonnovelle (alongside Arman Jalili). His solo work continues the sound the duo have refined on labels like OSMAN and Where We Met—think menacing electro held up by steely techno scaffolding—but what makes his solo debut even more exciting is the drum programming. On "Interactive View of Emotions" there's a looseness in the alternating kick and hi-hats that, once you add in the vintage drum roll, gives the song a playful New Beat feel.
