- The minute you hear the first reverb-swaddled kick drum on "Discoberry Jam," you know what kind of track you're in for—big, festival-sized bluster, what the DJ Sally C might call a "chunker." Brazilian producer Agrabah's new release on &Friends is only a single track, but it doesn't need anything else to hold it up: from the synths that shoot across the stereo spectrum to the giddy, ultra-catchy string motif to the searing synth guitar leads that lick at the rest of the track like a hungry flame, it's flamboyant, hummable and full of twists and turns to keep a dance floor active. It's one of those tracks that's hit-you-over-the-head simple enough to be massive, but detailed enough to keep you from crashing off the sugar high.
