- On their joint EP from this past June, Haruka Salt and W. Y. Huang (AKA Tongji) set a high bar for propulsive, drum-heavy techno. Their tracks are engrossing and full of character, as reflected by the whirlwind of synth jabs on the original version of "Never Satisfaction." Here, fellow Brooklynite Drummy adds his own touch through doomy bleeps and sinister textures. Playing up jungle undertones with shadowy, '90s-inspired breakbeat choppage, his percussive antics are as compelling as the original.
