On his latest 12-inch for Moodyman's Mahogani Music, the Detroit don revisits that track with a live take backed by a new cut of disco house. "Praises" features everything Andrés does well—live basslines, warm drums, perfect Rhodes chords—but it's the gospel vocals that are the cherry on top. I'm already looking forward to seeing this one under future Discogs "Recommendations."
