The beat sounds like it's gonna be punchy UK garage before settling into something looser and brighter, like a hyperpop soundtrack for a hot beach day. Oli XL's pitched-up vocals have a strange chemistry with Instupendo's deceptively dark lyrics: "Break all of my ribbon bones / Leave me in the attic, that's my home / Perfect lock with no keyhole." Both vocalists feel out every word, like they were chosen for their sound and shape more than their meaning.
