Across scattered and speedy Baltimore club drums, chopped chords and a flip of The Temptations'"I Wish It Would Rain," LOFT (AKA AYA) has turned in one of my favorite tracks of 2021. This is dance music aimed squarely at the gut and tear ducts, and should be a treasure trove for UK Rave Comments in ten years. I can picture it now: "It was 2021 and there had been a global pandemic. Hearing this one off my face with Gazza, Razza and Chazza the first night back was a reminder why God created bass. Shouts the Pennines massive and the lad selling Pfizer pressies."
