- The first full-length from new Indonesian label NON ARCHIVE is an experimental club compilation from emerging local artists. Murky shapes of techno, industrial and progressive trance define the overall mood with occasional jolts of rap or 190 BPM beats. Providing a respite from the album's dark tone is Philip Darsono, or TXETEXT, whose precise pairing of jungle and techno with mangled effects feels more futuristic than hard. The Bali-based producer sustains a consistent rhythm despite intervals of static, bleeps and other distortions that add character to what otherwise might be a straightforward club track.
