- The rising Italian house producer leans into the low-end.
- Since releasing his debut EP in 2018, Pesaro-born producer Luca Piermattei has been on a tear. With releases on a who's-who of cult favorites (think Lowmoneymusiclove, Open Channel For Dreamers), he's been fine-tuning a particularly deft touch on contemporary house. It's loopy and quirky, sure, but also with a bit of bassy oomph. The first taste of his new EP is even punchier. "The Cycle Of Nature" isn't far off UK garage. Add the hovering synth low in the mix that recalls "Another Girl"-era Jacques Greene, and it's clear Piermattei is on his way to an exciting new sound.
