- The latest remix of Stuttgart duo SHDW & Obscure Shape takes one of their most functional tracks and makes it even more functional. Spanish producer Exium's version sounds like "Blick Des Bösens" compressed through a tube, the original's rave-ready synths sandpapered down until they have a rough, pumice-like texture. This one's all about the heaving kick drums, especially after the first breakdown, the kind of drop you'd hear on an Instagram Story and rush to figure out what it is. SHDW & Obscure Shape excel at finding ways to colour brightly inside the lines, and Exium makes their techno even more streamlined, without losing the X factor that makes the Frankfurt duo so consistent.
