- Ikonika's 2020 EP Bodies, was a deeply personal exploration of trauma and self-care. The original "Your Body" saw the London producer at her most intimate, withh a slight sepia wash hanging over her usually neon palette. Midnight Snacc (the collaborative project between Iona and Don't Be Afraid boss Semtek) revisit the song herre, turning the wistfulness of the original into a venomous bad trip. There are more than a few hints of early hardcore, particularly the carnivalesque samples and chunky hits of sub-bass. If the original saw Ikonika marking the fragility of the human body, Midnight Snacc are equally jubilant in discovering that maybe we aren't so human after all.
