Said "being" is a fractured and imposing marvel. "The Limit" is a chemical reaction that corrodes any expectations you approach it with. Chords from "Golden Arrow" are repurposed and then laced with funky guitar sections warped to sound like rusty metal, while the instrumentation is twisty and dynamic enough to stay surprising on your fifth or six listen. Amidst all of the chaos, Jaar sounds unphased. His vocals cascade with a refreshing but hard-edged bite, like acid rain.
