- Hungarian producer Feralcode has been creating some noise over the last year with some superb tracks and remixes and here we see the launch of his new digital label - Feralcode records. This debut release Loops,Lights&Dimensions is from Zoltan Toth aka Coldfish.
Coming in a three remix package the Original mix is up first and brings on a deep vibe through use of chord stabs and chuggy beats creating motion behind a darkened synthline. Gently proceedings twisted and turn with drop outs,layering of parts and gradual rising of subtle pad melody underneath an hypnotic vocally hook.
The second take has gets an Australian flavour with Natives Mistaken mix, gathering together a clutch of broken beats that etch out a deep, forceful groove as a haze of the originals eerie pads swarm about underneath.Gradually a smooth interchange raises up the mood,adding a delayed tonal melody that's mimicked by gliding strings.Spread throughout is a filtery vocal cut which ripens the mysterious edge which is brought on by the blissful break and organic,warm quality.
Rounding things up is a Feralcode remix.He re-shapes the original into something that packs serious weight behind it,notching up the pressure tenfold and moulding it into his now trademark sound of epic proportions.Its incessant,regimental in its delivery and suits only one purpose - Peaktime !
