  • Confrontation is never easy, but "Red Handed" is a smooth and sultry take on what tends to be an uncomfortable experience. It's London singer Tyson's first single since her 2020 mixtape Moonlight, and the first release on her new label LMP Recordings. Tyson sings with certainty and soul, and her vocals cut through the lo-fi shuffling drums and hazy neo-soul chords. (The instrumental comes from Oscar Scheller with production help from Four Tet.) In the accompanying video, Tyson appears in an image as simple and raw as the song itself—so much so that it feels like listening in on a private exchange. If only all conflicts could be handled with such grace.
