- When describing Temisan Adoki, the word dedicated doesn't cut it. The Denver-based artist has put out 75 releases in the last 20 years, most of them flying under the radar. His new album, Consciousness, is a solid collection of seabed dub techno. It has a goal and heads straight for it, but that takes nothing away from the execution. "Conciousness Dub" is among the strongest tracks on the record, rolling forward with enveloping pads, warm sub-bass and crisp drum programming. For fans of Sushitech, Echocord and the like, Adoki is a name worth checking out.
