- I've been flipping through the zine that came with Future Times's FIGS compilation, and Max D's wild style Keith Haring-indebted freehands are exactly what came to mind while listening to the forthcoming album from Superabundance. The duo features two DC producers who are on one at the moment—Future Times head Max D, and Jackson Ryland. Both producers' signature sound elements are present—Max D's Dolo Percussion and the latter's dreamy, elongated pads. On the opener, "Hyperplasticity," hanging garden chords and banging, idiosyncratic drum programming combine into weightless house bliss.
