- Last fall, French producers (and Sample Delivery heads) DJ Suzmo and Gecin turned from sample-based music to raw club tracks on a collaborative LP, Crystal Stairs. Months later, they have a remix album on the way, including a dembow edit of the pair's footwork-adjacent club track, "Wai," from San Francisco's Juanny Depp. Here, croaking vocals peak through deep, airy chords, all underpinned by a crisp rhythm that infuses the track with a refreshing, albeit slightly off-kilter, groove.
