  • billy woods and Moor Mother's collaborative album evokes images of death and desperation, as metallic percussion groans and clangs in the distance. On "Rock Cried" in particular, their haunting lyrical deliveries sync so well that their team-up feels overdue. The song references the Book Of Revelation—"The rock cried: 'I can't hide you'"—in which sinners to tried to hide from the wrath of God in mountains and rocks during the endtimes. It's a galvanising post-apocalyptic sermon that sounds less like a warning than a shared premonition.
