- Hypnotically repetitive with staggered hi-hats and a steady build-up of whirring noise, "Slinky," the title track from Yamamori's latest album, lives up to its name. Like a spring-loaded toy chugging along at a steady pace, "Slinky" is unhurried as it glides through minimalist techno and ambient passages. The stripped-down quality and spacious keys makes it primed for a heavier edit, but as is, it's a fine slice of atmospheric techno.
