Physical Therapy and Michael Magnan are some of New York's most goofy and boisterous (and knowledgeable) DJs, though together they zero in on a smooth sound that touches on '90s house labels Nervous Records and Strictly Rhythm. Case in point: their remix of "Chem Trails," the standout on upstart producer Panooc's new EP for Sorry Records. It's all blissed-out swing, pearly chords and humming vocals, with plenty of filters to keep the textures morphing like a kaleidoscope.
