  • Douwantopartayee? Doyouwanno party? Doyouwant ta partay? Doyou wannna partee? So, do you want to party? Well, do you? That’s the subject matter that Aier Sauft’s Electrobreaklash is asking in their debut artist album as the blokes from San Francisco tag along with the ‘80s revival that Mylo has been re-pioneering the last two years. So forget about your job, the drama from your girl/boyfriend, your school, and a part of you just wants to let all that stress out don’t you. If you if you do, put this album on and you’ll be thrown in an abyss of funkydeliciousinyourfacelectromisch. As a whole, the album works well, jumping the hills, dragging you on a rollacoaster ride of dips and peaks. Tracks like the opener After Touch paints a homage to one of electronic music’s most influential groups – Kraftwerk. Synthesizers and electronic piano keys gloriously soars as it brings you back in time where dance music was nothing but fun. The one-two punch of Memories Torn and Unchangerable simmers the album in a lush melody-washed infection that can stand along some of the better ‘80s revival that have cropped up the last year, and the Suicide Twins mix of Rosemary’s Baby gives the album a shift Miami-styled funkfest to boot. Though, you’ll find that a large portion of the other tracks are less developed without a second thought and are cut-up to a point where it makes for a better listening experience for the CD as a whole than stand-alone pieces. There’s no real direction for the album, though some will appreciate it, EBL will stumbles on itself from time to time. Aier Sauft – Electrobraklash Tracklist 01. After Touch 02.
